In addition to Rounds, users can use Clipboards to complete their rounds. Clipboards are meant to be shorter, more frequent rounds that are generated and completed on a regular, predetermined schedule.
The following are some guidelines regarding when to use Clipboard vs when to use Rounding:
Round
- Touring an area of the facility
- Have a list of deficiency/conditions that are being checked
- Can identify multiple deficiencies for each inspection point
Clipboard
- Have a defined path user is following through the facility
- Checking locations or asset for specific condition
- Taking readings
- Verifying condition
- Updating meter
- 1 to 1 for Inspection point and value
You can access clipboards by clicking the gear icon in the upper right side of the main header and then clicking on Clipboards
Creating Clipboards
You can access clipboards by clicking the gear icon in the upper right side of the main header and then clicking on Clipboards. The Clipboards landing page will open in your browser window.
Any Clipboards which are already created for your facility will show in the Clipboard landing page along with information about the Status, next Clipboard generation info, and when the Clipboard generation expires.
A: Add new Clipboard button:
- When you click on this button a new window will open showing all the configuration options for scheduling a new Clipboard. In the new clipboard window you can enter the name, status, frequency, scheduled start of generation (“Next Inspection”), and the schedule frequency expiration date and time (“Clipboard Expiration”).
- In addition, you can assign members to the clipboard inspection team and then add inspection points on this page.
B: Clipboard Settings Edit button:
- Clicking on the Edit button next to a current Clipboard from the list will open up the Clipboard editing window, which shows the same options as the new Clipboard window shown above.
C: Clipboard History button:
- Clicking on the History button next to a current Clipboard from the list will open the Clipboard Inspection History window. There are Date and Time fields at the top that can be filled in to bring up data from a specific time range. The fields default to the last calendar day.
- Once you have chosen a date/time range for which to see history for the selected Clipboard, click on the Submit button and any relevant history will be displayed.
In the example above, the locations of the assets, the inspection points, and the results of the Clipboard inspection performed at the date and time shown
D: Clipboard Description
