Roles are a method of determining permissions for a person or group of people using CMS. The list of roles is available in the Admin Console under the User Management column.
Once the Roles module has been selected from the User Management menu, the page will open to show a list similar to below:
Navigating the Roles Page
is used to create a new role in CMS.

can be used to hide or add columns to the screen.
use the search bar to filter through values within the columns.
Column headers have a sort function to show information below it ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A).
If the triangle beside the header is clicked on, the user can filter the information in the column to show specific results.
The users column displays how many total users there are for that role. When the number is clicked on, the list of users with that role will display.
The user record can be opened and edited from this screen.
the edit icon will allow the user to open the role and edit the permissions.
The user can edit multiple facets of the role from here, including application access and permissions.
