ASSET CONFIGURATION ~ Meter Types

Asset Meter Types is the type of Meters that will be tracked on an asset, for example Vehicle Mileage or Generator Hours.  Meter points are registered on the Assets and can be updated via the Asset or Procedures Readings on Preventive Maintenance Work Orders.  

 *Note: Once a Meter Type  has been created or edited, you must log out and back into CMS to see the changes.

To create a new Meter Type click the Root Status icon.

Add the Meter Description, place check mark in Increasing Only if this meter type should only allow increasing numbers (larger than the last entry) and Save.  

An Asset can have multiple Meter Types to meet the need.  

To export the list of Meter Types currently in your system, click the icon.
